Description:
Indicated in the symptomatic treatment of dry and irritating cough. Relieves dry and irritating cough with onset of action in 15-30 minutes and lasting for 3-6 hours. It has a pleasant aroma of vanilla and apricot. The syrup is sucrose-free and therefore suitable for diabetics.
Dextromethorphan is an opioid drug that binds and acts as an antagonist of the NMDA glutamatergic receptor, which is an agonist for the sigma 1 and sigma 2 opioid receptors, and is also an alpha 3/beta 4 nicotinic receptor antagonist and has the target the serotonin reuptake pump.
This is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, where it enters the bloodstream and crosses the blood-brain barrier. On the first pass through the hepatic portal vein, some of the drug will be metabolized to an active metabolite of Dextromethorphan, Dextrorphan, or the 3-hydroxy derivative of Dextromethorphan.

Excipients and other constituents: Sodium saccharin, Liquid maltitol, Propylene glycol, Apricot aroma, Vanilla aroma, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate, Purified water.

Precautions:
Do not take in case of allergy to any of the substances;
Keep out of the reach and sight of children;
Do not use for a period longer than 5 days, unless expressly indicated by a doctor;

During treatment you should avoid drinking alcohol.
May have a mild laxative effect.
Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine.
Not recommended in children under the age of 6 years.

How to use:
Shake before using.
Take the recommended amount, with the aid of the measuring cup, preferably after a meal, according to the medical or pharmaceutical recommendation.
